HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KEN! Today is our fourth year Wedding Anniversary. I cant believe it has went so fast.So what are we going to do to celebrate. Well I'm not really sure. Ken will not tell me. This is actually the first time ever that what we are doing will be a complete suprise fro me. Ken has been planning this trip for months. He even called my mom and arranged for her to babysit the kids this weekend. I was very amazed. All he has really told me about the trip we are going on is that he doesn't think that he knows anyone that has ever been there, so that just makes it that more exciting. He has known I have always wanted to go to a fancy restraunt where you actually needed reservations in advance. So he has even planned and made reservations for us on Saturday night and he told me to be sure to bring dress up clothes because there is a dress code. Im so excited. I can not wait to see what he has planned. He says there is lots to do there so we have to use our time wisely.
It has been so long since we went away for our Anniversary because last year I was 8 months pregnant with Madison and really was not up to doing something fun and romantic. But this year Im ready. Ken has taken tommorrow off work so we can get everything packed and ready. We will be leaving for our destination on Saturday morning and returning on Sunday night.
The kids will be going with my mom and dad to our church picnic, so I know they will be having a fun time. That really makes the trip more enjoyable already, knowing they too will be having fun. The church always has fun things for the kids to do and games to play. So Im so glad the picnic as the same weekend.
Ken and I were married at the Methodist chruch in Crete, Illinois. We had a pretty big wedding. It was really a fun day. We rode in an SUV Limo all the way to Chicago just to take pictures by the lake. I always wanted my wedding pictures to have the beautiful city of chicago in the background. After the wedding we had our reception at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Matteson Illinois. And then for our honeymoon we went on a trip to cancun Mexico. It was a really beautiful place.
Ken, I love you so much. Through our ups and our downs I still love you the same as I did then. My love grows for you daily and I cant wait to spen the rest of our lives together. Happy Anniversary!
